Our Wedding

We begin dating in the spring of 2021 after meeting through mutual friends at a restaurant. We bonded over our shared love of cooking &amp; travel and have spent much of the past 4 years that have quickly passed since then, doing both of those things. Our first experience traveling together was a road trip through the American Southwest and our most recent was our engagement in Italy. With 7 other trips in between, we knew we wanted to have a destination wedding to share our love of travel with our closest family and friends. We are so excited for our special day and we hope you are too!

Our top choice is Hotel Tenuta di Artimino, where Villa La Ferdinanda, our venue is located. It is a 4 star hotel with a spa, restaurants, pool &amp; wine cellar. There are 2 buildings - one in the town center of Artimino with larger suites &amp; apartments as well as another hotel building with traditional hotel rooms directly next to the Villa. Both are in walking distance of the welcome party venue, wedding venue, brunch venue and church.

Hotel Tenuta di Artimino 

Tenuta La Borriana is a charming agriturismo (working farm with hotel) located 6 mins by car from Artimino town center and 8 mins from our venue. The estate offers suites, apartments, wine tastings, bike tours, &amp; various other excursions. This is a more budget conscious option starting with pricing at 100-220 euro per night. Booking for 2026 is now available.

Tenuta la Borriana

Hotel Villa La Malva is a wonderful hotel with panoramic views, large pool, restaurant, bar and various sized suites within a 5-minute drive of our venue. Pricing is between 100-250 euro per night.

Tenuta San Vito is a wine estate just south of Artimino offering charming traditional apartments with views of the Tuscan countryside within a 13 minute drive of our venue. Pricing is between 90 and 200 euro per night.

Getting to Artimino - Flight &amp; Train Routes Our venue is approximately 30 minutes from Florence, the closest major city &amp; capitol of Tuscany. Passports:Passports can be renewed online and first time issue passports can be obtained at most post office locations. Double check this online with your local post office. It is important to note that in order to be valid for travel, your passport expiration date must not be within 6 months of your travel dates. For example, if your passport expires in November of 2026, it will not be valid for travel in June.
